I’m panicking because easily I spent at least 14 hours on this site today, and my index page got deleted…. therefore I have nothing really to show, because that’s the main hub

This week we were busy working with the new layout, which I’m pretty happy with. Leigh and I took to coming up with designs for all the new layouts, and we both spent a good amount of time working on them.
On Tuesday, we all decided to use the new design, so work started from there. [...]

This week I turned the new layout designs into html and css. Here they are:

Also I’ve started brushing up on my javaScript with tutorials Aaron sent out.
The layouts took about 6 hours, the js tutorials took 3 hours.
Next week there’s more html & css to be done, I guess. I also have to use js [...]

This week we decided to go with the new layouts because they look much better than our older iterations. This is supposed to be a portfolio piece after all, so why not make it look good. Instead of making the entire art team work on the layouts, we split up to make the layouts cohesive [...]

This week I created the search and browse layout, met with Aaron to work on those, met with Frank and Brandon to talk about the icon assets, and met with the group to further discuss layouts. Here are the search and browse layouts:

This week was a tough one for me, schedule wise. I worked late on Monday and Wednesday, and was busy most of the weekend with Valentines day. You could say I took an “off week”, from Sunday-Saturday, only being able to work for about 4 hours, but I’ve also spent another 5 hours working today, [...]

This week, after taking in the critiques for Jervo and my group, I redid my layouts so they can blend with the rest of the site. I’m a lot happier with these layouts - they’re a [...]

Generally, I think, the team is doing much better than before with problems in coordination and graphics figured out.
This week the faculty told us that we have to make all layout designs fit together; they all had differences in them because the 3 designers that worked on them each had a different approach. That was [...]

After the meeting I worked on fleshing out more of the buttons and their different states. I redesigned the buttons and also added new ones as well. Christian suggested that I adjusted them further, as I have forgotten that the images will be dramatically reduced when turned into actual buttons on the pages. [...]
